Struttin' Mutts is a dog walking and pet-sitting company serving the following areas of Alexandria, Virginia: 22306, 22307 and 22308. Struttin' Mutts was founded in 2004 by Vicki Burnett-Miller and quickly earned the reputation of being one of the most reliable, trust-worthy and professional pet care companies in the area.

We are family owned and operated and take pride in maintaining a small business with a small service area which allows us to provide consistent, personal care for your pets. Our emphasis is on safety. We understand the anxiety that comes with leaving your pets in someone else’s care so we take all steps necessary to ensure their safety and thus– your peace of mind. Your pet’s welfare and happiness is our number one goal!

DOG walking & pet sitting
Whether you a have puppy who needs housebreaking visits, an adult dog who needs regular exercise or a mature dog who now requires frequent bathroom breaks- our walking service provides an excellent opportunity to help you establish a regular and healthy routine for your dog!
It would be ideal to take your pet with you every time you head out of town, but of course this isn't always possible. Our pet sitting service provides an excellent solution for this common dilemma, caring for your pet in the comfort of your own home, thus allowing your pet to continually follow his/her usual routine while you are away. Not only will your pet benefit from remaining in a familiar environment while keeping his/her same diet and routine, they will also receive loving one-on-one care and attention while you're away. In addition, you'll have the peace of mind that comes from knowing that your pet is being cared for by a professional and the comfort of knowing someone will be providing a house check helping to keep your home safe and secure.

30 min. visits available Monday - Friday between the hours of 10:00am - 4:30pm. Includes a walk and/or playtime, fresh water, a feeding if necessary and a report of the day’s visit.
1 dog - $23.00; $3.00 for each additional dog
Reduced rates are available for ongoing service based on the following:
One dog:
5 days/week: $21.00 per visit
4 days/week: $21.50 per visit
3 days/week: $22.00 per visit
2 days/week: $22.50 per visit
Each additional dog:
5 days/week: $2.00 per visit
4 days/week: $2.25 per visit
3 days/week: $2.50 per visit
2 days/week: $2.75 per visit
mid-day potty breaks
15 min. visits available Monday - Friday between the hours of 10:00am - 4:30pm. Includes a potty break in yard, fresh water, a feeding if necessary and a report of the day’s visit.
$18.00 per visit
Reduced rates are available for ongoing service based on the following:
5 days/week: $17.00 per visit
4 days/week: $17.25 per visit
3 days/week: $17.50 per visit
2 days/week: $17.75 per visit
pet sitting
Custom schedule, available 7 days/week between the hours of 7:00am - 10:00pm. Includes a walk and/or play time, feeding, medication dispersal, security/house check, light rotation, gathering mail/newspapers, trash take out, watering plants and a report of the visit.
15 Minutes: $18.00; this visit does not include a walk.
30 Minutes: $23.00; $3.00 for each additional dog if a walk is needed
45 Minutes: $28.00; $3.00 for each additional dog if a walk is needed
60 Minutes: $33.00; $3.00 for each additional dog if a walk is needed
